What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect entry names and addresses so we can post out recipient awards. Email addresses so we can send certificates and report papers. We also collect entry video for the purpose of the completion adjudicating. These will be deleted once the winners have been awarded.

Media

Any videos on the website will be specifically for information regarding the competition. Visitors to the website are not allowed to download or extract any text, data or images from our website. Visitors that do will be in breach of our copyright.

Any images will be of screen shots for the HALL OF FAME and these will be to show the winners of each section. These are not allowed to be downloaded or extracted for third party use. These images be deleted after one year.

Cookies

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select ‘Remember Me’, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Who we share your data with

We will not share any data with any third party.

How long we retain your data

Your data will be kept for the duration of each competition. Once the winners have been announced then your data will be deleted. Only the data and screen shot images from submitted videos of winners of each section will be retained for a year.
